Some new cards. time flies so fast

Time flies so fast, and you would think after all this time I would have more cards than this wouldn't you?

I have been trying some Promarkers instead of my Copics and I have to tell you I love both. I have so many Copics and the refills for them so I will probably continue to use them more than the Promarkers, but they are both great.
I watched a tutorial on using distress inks and they look a bit fiddly but I love the look of them. I am still trying to get the same finish from my Copics but it is not that easy (well I find it's not that easy) and I have a rubbish bin full of images to prove it!

I have done two easel cards, one with Hanglar and one with Mo's digital, one step card with Hanglar and one card using Polka Doodles. I love them all but I think I like the beach one best.

I hope everyone had a great weekend, back to work tomorrow :(

Cheers

Cards, cards, cards.

Wow it's been so long since I have posted on my blog, time just seems to fly by so fast.
I have done some more cards so I thought I would post some of them.

The first ones are Mo's Digital Pencil,

Then some Hanglar

And last of all a goth Stampotique

I haven't done any scrapbook pages for ages so I must try and put the cards away and start some soon.
I hope you like my cards,
cheers

A cute Wedding card

Well it is Sunday night and I am back to work tomorrow after a week and a half off. I didn't get a lot of cards done but I did clean the kitchen cupboards out and my walk in wardrobe and my craft area, so it wasn't a complete waste of time, but I now have to go back to work for a rest. Sorry Ros, but I know you can work twice as hard to carry me :)

I finished this card tonight and I am very pleased with the way it turned out. It was my first attempt at this layering technique. It was fun to do, even if it was a little time consuming, but I figure the more I do the better and faster I will be at it.

I love this Hangler stamp.

I did the inside very plain, just a verse and kaisercraft pearls in the corners.

Well off to bed and get a good nights sleep for my exciting day tomorrow, I think I might sleep in my uniform cause I am so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Christmas Card with a difference.

It's so nice to have some time off work this week, I am doing a super spring clean and getting some things done that I just haven't had time to do when I am working.
As a reward to myself I have been doing this cute Christmas card with a difference. I uses heavy gold cardstock for the box, Kaisercraft paper for the bow and background under the stamps, and 12 days of Christmas stamps from Penny Black.

I put a candle in the middle as an extra surprise when you open the box, when I do some more I am going to put chocolates instead.
I hope you like this, I love it.

A little bit of card therapy

After a hard day at work I love to just sit and colour some stamps and then decide what sort of cards I am going to make.

These stamps are from Funky kits and Stamping Bella.

Oh no! Work tomorrow already.

Another weekend nearly over again, and back to work tomorrow. Oh well I suppose it helps to pay for my cards and scrapbooking.

I thought I would put some of my colourful cards on seeing that I had posted some of my black and whites.

I was so excited when my Hanglar Stanglar stamps arrived, I was so lucky to find someone who was selling her collection of them, that I have put two of them on cards.

Quiet Sunday Morning

I love the mornings when everyone else is asleep, it's so peacefull. I took some pics of cards that I have made over the last couple of weeks and decided to put some on to see if I could get the sizing of them right.

These are three black and white ones I did using Copics. The Tilda and gorgus girl stamps were kindly lent to me by Ros.
